The project

Singapore, a country known for its strong commitment to sustainability, has undertaken an innovative and pioneering project in Asia and the world: transforming the roofs of all parking lots into green spaces. AZUD, selected for this project, demonstrated its adaptability and leadership in sustainable Irrigation and Filtration solutions.

The challenge

In Singapore, regulations require that all parking decks be transformed into parks or gardens.

Given theproximity of the country to the sea and its High water tablein addition, an innovative solution was required to take advantage of these roofs to create sustainable green spaces.

In addition, it was necessary to integrate arainwater collection and useusing this catchment source as irrigation water. For this purpose, a system had to be installed to guarantee the correct water quality, ensuring the correct Operation and extending the useful life of the installation.

The solution

  • Filtration SystemAZUD HELIX AUTOMATIC AA: Self-cleaning disc filtration equipment with air-assisted cleaning, which allows deep filtering of the water, removing organic and inorganic particles. This ensures optimum quality of the Irrigation water, which is crucial for the maintenance of these green spaces. To use rainwater as irrigation water, it was essential to have highly efficient Filtration equipment.
