The challenge

Strawberry cultivation hasdemanding nutritional requirements and is highly sensitive to the Salinity of Irrigation water.

It is therefore crucial to monitor andcontroller of electrical conductivity (EC) of the Irrigation water after the addition of fertilizers andprevent precipitates in the Irrigation Dripline.

The solution

To address this challenge, theaZUD QGROW V systemit has three injection lines, one of which is designed for the application of acids or other products.

Since the farm has sufficient manpower and the cost is not significant, we opted for amanual fertigation equipment. This choice facilitated the adaptation and operation of the system by the personnel in charge of the farm.

Configuration of the equipment enabled aaccurate control of the soil electrical conductivity (EC) and pH at the exact point where the fertilizers are injected, ensuring an adequate supply of nutrients to the strawberry crop.
