EVERGREEN develops a production system adapted to protected crops under a new structural design with light intensity activating particles and advanced nanomaterials applied to the micro-irrigation system with a biocidal effect.
The general objective of the project is the development of a new concept of greenhouse production system for the optimisation of solar radiation and the efficiency of irrigation systems, prolonging their performance thanks to the manufacture and integration of new products developed from advanced materials and coatings. The aim is to make better use of these resources and, in particular, to enable the cultivation of species that have not been widely planted in Spain to date.
